So the last time I posted it's been a while... So there has been a big change in my life... If you were there at Crossroads on Sunday you know what happened... for the rest of the world... i'll tell you.. On Friday night, my girlfriend and I went to the Getty Center. Personally, I could care less for the place because I worked there for 3 months. But she loves it there. So we went there with the intention of eating dinner and seeing a couple of exhibits. The hitch was that the Foundry was going to have a potluck dinner there. So I was freaking out that we would bump into some friends and never have a chance to get away. So when we got there, I quickly walked her over to a secluded area. I began taking pictures of her and putting her in different poses to get "good pictures". I got down on my knee and continued to take pictures of her. I then asked her if she would get my sweater out of my bag and she did. She also noticed that I had a box in the backpack, but she didn't take it out. So I said, "Take the box out too. And open it." She took the box out, but then decided in order to prevent herself from damaging it she had to get down on her knees to open the box on the ground. I quickly had to say, "Wait, stay standing." And she kind of straightened up, and I continued "Will you marry me?" She said, "Yes". And proceeded to get down on her knees to open the box. Inside the box was a Precious Moments figurine. I had put her ring on the dog's nose. So we opened the box together and I took the ring off the dog and placed it on her left hand, ring finger. So she is now my fiancé. And I am now engaged. |
